Foxtrot Dancing
smooth, yet upbeat...
|
Foxtrot is danced to upbeat, swing-like music in either a slow-slow-quick-quick or slow-quick-quick rhythm pattern. It is characterized by long, flowing movements that progress around the dance floor counterclockwise. Foxtrot's simple combination of walks and chasses is easy to learn and ideal for social dancing! Foxtrot can be danced to a variety of musical styles and tempos. Traditional music includes “I Won't Dance” by Frank Sinatra, "Beyond The Sea" by Bobbi Darin, and “Wade In The Water” by Eva Cassidy. Contemporary music includes "Moon Over Bourbon Street” by Sting and "I've Got You Under My Skin" by Michael Buble'.
